This SMS & Communication Policy explains how Riddall Business Group Inc. communicates with prospects, clients, and contacts via SMS text messaging, email, and phone. We are committed to respecting your communication preferences and complying with all applicable laws including Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL) and the United States Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA).2. SMS COMMUNICATION2.1 Consent We will only send SMS messages to individuals who have provided express consent. Consent is obtained through:
Submitting our online application or contact form (which includes an SMS consent checkbox)
Verbally confirming consent during a phone or discovery call
Signing our Service Agreement which includes communication consent2.2 Types of SMS Messages We Send Once you have opted in you may receive the following types of SMS from Riddall Business Group:
Transactional messages:
Application confirmation
Discovery call confirmations and reminders
Proposal notifications
Invoice and payment notifications
Onboarding updates
GO LIVE notifications
Support ticket updates
Service messages:
14-day check-in reminders
30-day optimization reminders
Monthly service updates
Marketing messages (with express consent only):
New service announcements
Founding client opportunities
Educational content (infrequent)2.3 Message Frequency Message frequency varies based on your stage in our process. During active onboarding you may receive more frequent messages. During ongoing subscription you can expect 2-4 messages per month maximum outside of support interactions2.4 Message and Data Rates Standard message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and plan. Riddall Business Group is not responsible for any charges applied by your carrier2.5 How to Opt Out You can opt out of SMS messages at any time by:
Replying STOP to any SMS message
Emailing [email protected] with "SMS Opt Out" in the subject line
Calling us at 1-778-860-0042
Once you opt out we will stop sending SMS messages within 10 business days. New product or service announcements3.3 How to Unsubscribe You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time by:
Clicking the "Unsubscribe" link in any marketing email
Emailing [email protected] with "Email Unsubscribe" in the subject line
Note that unsubscribing from marketing emails does not stop service-related emails required to deliver your active subscription.4. PHONE COMMUNICATION4.1 Outbound Calls We may call you for the following purposes:
Following up on your application
Scheduling your discovery call
Delivering your discovery call
Onboarding and implementation updates
Support issue resolution
Check-in and optimization calls
General client relationship management4.2 Call Recording Calls may be recorded for quality assurance and training purposes. We will inform you at the beginning of any recorded call4.3 Do Not Call If you do not wish to receive calls from Riddall Business Group please notify us at [email protected] or 1-778-860-0042 and we will add you to our internal do not call list within 10 business days.5. CASL COMPLIANCE (CANADA)
All commercial electronic messages sent to Canadian recipients comply with Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL). This means:
We only send commercial messages with express or implied consent
Every commercial message clearly identifies Riddall Business Group as the sender
Every commercial message includes our contact information
Every commercial message includes an easy unsubscribe mechanism
We honor all unsubscribe requests within 10 business days6. TCPA COMPLIANCE (USA)
For US recipients we comply with the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA):
We obtain express written consent before sending automated SMS messages
We maintain records of all consents
We honor all opt-out requests promptly
